Jan is a mind, body & spirit health professional in Denver, Colorado specializing in meditation and a workout style known as Essentrics.

Jan came to us with the desire to turn her easily-recognizable signature into a brand element. Imagery that resonates deeply with her is that of the butterfly and the freedom and metamorphosis it represent. Given that information, our first step was to create a vector graphic from her signature. We played with the idea of a separate ‘winged’ mark that would stand along but ultimately came back to a more unified concept, with the shape of the ‘J’ in her signature creating “wings”, used in repetition to create movement. This gave Jan a personally meaningful mark to use in all of her business ventures.
